Taking  fashion in India  ahead, the label’s solo collection at Lakmé Fashion Week 2020 Digital First Season Fluid Edition was a representation of how bio-composite material, based on Bacterial Cellulose grown on water from natural fibres and mature coconuts, could be an alternative for fashionable garments and accessories.  The “Malai’s” latest collection took trends in the  Indian fashion industry  to new heights. The core of its collection was coconut circularity and sustainability. It is good to witness how the  Indian fashion industry  is focusing on and enhancing sustainable fashion. The latest accessories were designed from malai biocomposite and encouraged materials like waxed canvas.
